For the last time in 2016, we travel to watch the mighty Ayrshire Killie try to gain some points to put on the board.
After the midweek embarrassment at Tynecastle, it is very important that the team show that they can bounce back, otherwise us fans will go into the new year very concerned indeed.
Partick have been on a good run of form recently, with two wins on the bounce propelling them to the dizzy heights of sixth in the league. For Killie, they will be hoping to gain three points to give themselves a platform going into the winter break.
The danger man for Partick is of course, as always, Kris Doolan. Even though he does not score bags of goals over the season, he aslways seems to manage to put the ball in the back of our net. Our makeshift defence will have to stick tight to him to make sure he doesn’t get a sniff of goal.
Overall, we’ve never been particularly successful at Firhill. However, Killie fans will remember that great day two years ago when we confirmed our top flight status with a 4-1 win. A repeat of that performance would be a very nice way to end the year indeed.
