It’s not often we get to play at Murrayfield, but today we do as we travel to the capital to face the Jambos.

We go hoping to avenge the midweek defeat to Hibs, and set us up positively going into the international break. We currently sit 11th in the table, and will go above Partick Thistle with a win today.

The Jambos have lost on their last two outings, and will be looking to turn their fortunes around. We are unbeaten in our last four away games, although we haven’t won away against Hearts in four attempts, so it’s all to play for today.

Don Cowie could return to the team for the home side, but luckily for us winger Jamie Walker is still side-lined with injury. The dangermen for Hearts are the two strikers, Goncalves and Lafferty. The pair are starting to form a real partnership up front and Greer and Findlay will need to be at their best to shut them out. The gaffer said: “Hearts are a good strong team, physically capable. “Kyle Lafferty is a handful up front and Isma Goncalves, on his day, can be dangerous.”

For us, Rory McKenzie and Chris Burke are both doubts so Jordan Jones will need to be at his best to make up for those two in attack. We can definitely take something from the game today, and with a good support expected in Edinburgh, it should be a good day out for us Killie fans!
