PARTICK THISTLE 0-1 KILMARNOCK             FIRHILL STADIUM               7 APRIL 2018

Not the prettiest of games this one, but we have come away with another valuable three points in our hunt for Europe. A single goal from Stuart Findlay was enough to get the better of a determined Thistle side. Here’s four things to note…

NOT AT OUR BEST

Just like last weekend, we were not at our best today but still managed to grind out a result. With key players like Mulumbu and Jones not on top form, we struggled at times, especially in the second half. However, we managed the game well and saw out the game for another vital three points.

FIVE IN A ROW

With that win, we are now the first team in the league to win five games in a row this season. Considering the strength and depth of many of the top teams, this is a real achievement in itself and is another gem in this fantastic season.

12th MAN

Once again, the Killie faithful proved why they are the greatest fans in Scottish football, with over 1600 packed into the stand today. They never stopped singing from the first minute to the last, and surely helped the team over the line towards the end.

STILL CHASING

With Hibs dropping two points against Ross County, we can now close to within four points if we win our game in hand against Hamilton. And with the Edinburgh side looking up rather than down, we can perhaps sneak in after the split and book a European place.
